Born December 10th 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany to a German father and a French mother. Married to Ping-Yi Chen, a Taiwanese National, who was brought up in Japan since age 4. Speaks several languages.

Began track and field training at age 8 at HTC – Stuttgarter Kickers. Also was competitive soccer and squash player as well as certified skiing instructor through late teen years. After completing compulsory military service in the German air force; at age 20 was recruited into German team developmental group for decathlon in spring 1985. Career ending car accident November 6th 1985.

Stefan has an Associate degree in Golf Operations Management from San Diego Golf Academy and holds an MBA – International Business Administration from United States International University. He is a Certified golf club fitter – Henry Griffitts Company.

Formerly, Stefan has worked with PGA Aloha Section – Assistant Golf professional at Princeville Resort on Kauai, Hawaii 1994 – 1995. He was also a Kauai Junior Golf volunteer golf teacher. Stefan teaches golf based on track and field throwing discipline principles.

Stefan is the Founder/Owner of Andmore Products Corp. 2005 – present, he is Founder/Owner of Bella Crystal Collection 2007 – 2018 and General Manager: XVS Entertainment LLC – 2017 – present.

Derek Uyeda has been teaching golf in San Diego for 20 years, and has been Lead Golf Instructor at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar for last six years. Derek was named the Southern California Section Professional Golfers’ Association Teacher of the Year after receiving the award for the Teacher of the Year for the San Diego Chapter of the PGA. He was also aptly named among the top 35 golf instructors in California in Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Your State.”

Derek has become an authority on the use of video swing analysis and retains an extensive video library of the best players in the game, for the past 3o or more years and is trained and certified in the use 3-D analysis, TrackMan, Flightscope and the SAM Putt Lab. For years, Derek has been known as one of the best short game and putting experts in the world, and has recently developed, along with his partner, the Putting Plates, which are designed to assist golfers of all abilities in perfecting their aim, ball starting line and green reading. He is also developing an app called StatCaddy to assist golfers with tracking their game.

Derek is also an accomplished player and has participated in many PGA section events, as well as representing the San Diego Section PGA Chapter in the North/South Cup Matches in 2000. When not teaching or on the practice range or course, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Recognized as one of the world’s best teachers, Chris Como has has one of the most unique backgrounds in golf coaching. His comprehensive training in the game blends traditional instruction and cutting edge science.

Chris spent the first part of his career being mentored by the biggest names in teaching—including David Leadbetter, Mac O’Grady, and Hank Haney. He rounded out his education by completing all of the graduate-level coursework for a Masters degree in Biomechanics, all while publishing three research papers in the journal of Sports Biomechanics.

Recognized as a Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher in America and Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher, Chris is currently featured on The Golf Channel, on his instructional shows: Como Concepts and Swing Expedition.

Dr. Ara hails from Malaysia via Liverpool, UK. He wears many hats: as an ER physician, lecturer at UCF medical school, TV analyst, public speaker, author, and educator. He is a leading figure in providing medical services to professional athletes.

Born in the small Malaysian town of Klang to educator parents, Dr. Ara was nurtured to cultivate a strong sense of curiosity and problem-solving skills, while also embodying perseverance, courage, and ambition.

At 18, he received a merit scholarship to study medicine at Liverpool University. After obtaining his medical degree, he completed an internship as well as multi-year training programs in surgery and Emergency Medicine.

An avid athlete and tennis player, Dr. Ara took up golf while studying sports medicine. This serendipitous overlap led him to deeply explore swing mechanics and common golf injuries, allowing him to apply his sports medicine knowledge to the sport.

Since his debut on the Golf Channel in 2014, where he explained Tiger Woods’ back surgery to golf fans, Dr. Ara has appeared and provided commentary and analysis across various media platforms including CNN, BBC, NBC Golf Channel, CBS Sports, Golf Digest, and USA Today.

Physical Therapist and Trainer

Marnus is an avid sportsman who had his fair share of injuries. In fact, largely because of the experts who helped him get better and stronger, he pursued a career in helping athletes.

In 1999 Marnus earned a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria and started working with many of South Africa’s elite athletes. That led him, three years later, to the United Kingdom. There he was hired by the British military to help injured soldiers and athletes return to full strength. During this time, he had the privilege of learning from leading professionals in the fields of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

By 2008, he was busy earning various fitness certifications and working with golfers. Four years later, Marnus found himself in San Diego consulting players on both the European and PGA Tours. In 2013 he was qualified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Today, Marnus travels full-time with the PGA Tour to help keep golfers in top form.

Ronna is a San Diego native, growing up in the East County where she graduated from Valhalla High School. She received her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma Washington in 1986. Currently, Ronna and her family reside in Poway, CA. Ronna has been a physical therapist for over 25 years in the San Diego area. Her previous experience include being the Director of Physical Therapy, Aztec Sports Medicine Center at San Diego State University from 1989 – 1991. From 1996 to 2003, Ronna owned the Center for Physical Therapy & Exercise, Poway CA and worked there as a Staff Physical Therapist the last 7 years. For the past 9 years, Ronna has been on the Faculty of the Professional Golfers Career College, Temecula, CA teaching Golf Fitness and Physiology of Exercise classes to the Freshmen and Sophomore classes.

Austin Kaiser

Austin Kaiser grew up in North County. He spent a lot of his youth at Chalk Mountain Golf Course in Atascadero. Kaiser played on golf teams at Atascadero High School and Hancock College in Santa Maria.

He and Schauffele became friends while playing on the golf team at San Diego State University. When Xander became serious about playing professionally, he asked Kaiser to be his caddie.

Kaiser has always approached the game intelligently. He relies heavily on statistics and planning. He also works to keep Xander focused and relaxed during the stress of tournament play. It’s been a very successful partnership.
